IV.1 : Extra
Facing the world through intake and expression.
By its nature,
force concentrates upon an open space.
Subtle, suffocating,
perhaps even oppressive.
From all directions, ceaseless.
Amassing some center
that it permeates through and through.
And by eventual consequence,
should that center withstand
the overwhelming power of the infinite,
it returns
all those imposing conditions
back upon the source,
back upon the world,
its resistance
reflecting to the world
and all other bodies upon it
precisely how it manages to persist.
This is the extra.
That metabolic strait
conveying the input and output of force,
as it’s conducted.
Through it, a body expresses all that it can,
given its established form
and the convenience
of all the interactions
that thrust it forward in time.
In this, bodies may demonstrate their leanings.
Their orientation,
kinship, fittedness,
and uniquely developed form
through the consequences of interaction.
In the same way,
the extra conveys the process of expression
from the distant heavens.
The horizon may seem terminal.
As though it has an end.
But it is without bound.
Force, the output, lands here, upon a center
and is simultaneously fueled
by an input,
an infinite input,
to continue the evolution
of the seed this world continues to become.
